Week 23

Week 23, day 1, Rubber Boot Journalist saw spring was peeking out this weekend. Take a gander at what’s blooming in the Rubber Boot Journalist’s yard right now. A darn shame she can’t see it from her window where she’s working on prunes today. Maybe this afternoon she’ll head out to the patio and be surrounded by them while she heads to Conspiracy.

Week 23, day 2, Rubber Boot Journalist is on the road taking photos today so no writing.

Week 23, day 3, Rubber Boot Journalist is back in the office and finishing up prunes and peaches. Gosh makes me ready for summer fruit! And it’s switched from

warm spring sunshine to much needed rain so I’ll cozying up to the fire when I head to Conspiracy this afternoon.

Week 23, day 4, Rubber Boot Journalist was out in the mud and the muck taking pictures for the prune article then stopped for a Latte only to find out their steamer was broken so went on to the next coffee shop. Was not a day for a cold drink! Managed to write a new scene too.

Week 23, day 5, Rubber Boot Journalist was racing around taking photos and meeting deadlines and didn’t make it posting yesterday.  Was covering a tornado!  For those of you not on the west coast this is big news here.  We rarely see them.  Covered on a couple of years ago that damaged some nut orchards just like this one did.
